ELIA Academy 2025

In June 2025, I participated in the ELIA Academy in Oslo together with a group of graduating students from the HKU art education programmes. The ELIA Academy is an international conference organised by ELIA, the European League of Institutes of the Arts, a network of art academies and research institutions focused on artistic research and arts education.

As a collective, we contributed to the conference by developing and facilitating a student-led, interactive session on artistic research as a lived practice. The session engaged an international audience of students, educators, and researchers and focused on how personal research trajectories can inform educational and artistic practice.

The session was developed and presented in close collaboration with HKU tutors and researchers.
